Alatreon, elder dragon of both darkness and light, a dual pair of off horn-like crests rest atop it's head, spaces between the plates of the crest allow the beast to bleed through them, triggering a reaction known only as the dark element of the Elder Dragon's, a reaction only they can produce. The light and airy structure of the crest causes them to break during carving, and therefore, a commodity. the airy structure allows blood and the large amounts of marrow there in, to flow when needed. The Alatreon seems special compared to other elder dragons, as it has use of nearly all elements; fire, thunder, & ice, although it cannot produce abnormal status elements such as poison and paralysis. The total instability of Alatreon makes it a constant threat to human, wyvernian, and felyne races alike. Due to the fact that Alatreon cannot harness more than one element at a time it is considered a relatively newly evolved dragon, and naive. Even if that is true, the Alatreon is extremely deadly, and should only be approached by profession hunters as team, not by one so foolish as to wear Lagiacrus armor and a mediocre weapon.
